Marine Realty focuses only on marinas and marine-related properties and assets. We are passionate about the marine industry. Many of our agents have personal experience owning, operating, and working at marinas and shipyards.
We truly believe our commitment to concentrate solely on this specific industry is an asset to those looking to sell, or buy a marina property. We will not be distracted helping other clients with residential or other miscellaneous commercial projects. Our focus is on marinas and marinas only.
Marine Realty is located in the heart of the Yachting Capital of the World, Fort Lauderdale, Florida. From our Fort Lauderdale office, we have access to dozens of very strong marina properties along the East and West coasts of Florida. However, we are excited to travel to many locations to better serve our clients, including California, Michigan, Europe and the Caribbean.

Nationwide developers are pushing countless plans for new or expanded marinas. A shortage of dock space and a rise in boat ownership throughout the United States have inspired the calls for expansion.
Boating industry officials say the need for more slips from boaters has continued to climb dramatically over the last five years. Experts cite the demand is due to a recovering economy, low interest rates, and improved product lines.
In many states, especially Florida, while the demand dockage is rising, the supply is shrinking rapidly. Many causes for dockage depletion include high-occupancy residential developments and condominiums, poor urban planning, and new environmental regulations which hinder, and in many instances, prevent new marina development.
The rising demand, and shrinking supply have resulted in very high dockage rates, and in some instances no options to buy or lease at all. In many East Coast states, including Florida, Massachusetts, and New York the wait for a permanent boat slip or mooring can take years.
Thousands of boats are being purchased every year. These boats all need a place for repair work, supplies, maintenance, and places to keep them. With fewer options for service and mooring, the value of marinas will continue to grow.
